Un temps guitariste « de rock », j’explore depuis longtemps d’autres musiques et univers.
Pendant et depuis Noir Désir (cofondé en 1980 et disparu en 2003), je joue avec des musiciens d’horizons divers, et des auteurs et des peintres et des danseurs et des cinéastes, en duo/trio/quartet et big bands, ou en solo.
Je cherche.
Parfois je trouve.
Et je cultive avec passion l’indépendance, pour laquelle j’ai fondé mon label, Intervalle Triton, fuyant l’industrie du disque qui a creusé sa propre fosse avec ses dents.

Welcome to Serge Teyssot-Gay’s .
A long time rock n’roll guitar pro, I always aspired to breaking new musical frontiers. During and since my time with Noir Désir (band co founded in the 80’s ending in 2003) I never stopped playing with musicians from around the world, collaborating with authors, painters, dancers and movie directors from all walks of life and horizons, setting up duos, trios, big bands or solos.
An endless quest which has sometimes granted me with an answer.
My moto is independence; Intervalle Triton is the label I created to rise above a decrepit music industry which has dug the grave it is now lying in.
